Should Crackers stop rapping?

February 28th, 2008 · 15 Comments

Here’s a new UK joint from ex-The Beats signing and cheeky chappie Example. There’s also a new video for a different track ‘Me & Mandy’. We’re not hating on him but Fat Lace are coming ever closer to initiating our ‘Stop Crackers Rapping’ campaign. Watch this space.

I think you should at least take the preliminary steps to launch the campaign – just in case of emergency.

R.A, Bubba and Beasties still have the odd great track in them but hearing this and, indeed, any white Brit trying to rap and considering White Rapper Show embarrassments like G. Child, 100 Proof + Jus Rhyme and witnessing Cage’s current brand of confused My Chemical Suicide-Boy-hop i think a compelling case could be made for us whites never being allowed near a mic again for the rest of eternity.

example is terrible. from that annoying school of current british rappers who dont seem to understand rapping at all

I feel like I’m in some sort of freaky time machine where UK rap is fallng backwards in a kaleidoscope of bad special effects. On the other hand, who doesn’t love Pitman?

As long as you tell Ill Bill to his face, I’m fully behind this campaign. Damn blue-eyed devils, putting crack in our cornflakes.

I’ll take Kevin Federline with Ya Boy over a Storch beat over this sheeeeiiiitttt. I don’t think race is the issue, I just think people from Fulham or Manhattan, or any other trendy spot, don’t wash well unless you’re 14 and female

there are some decent white UK rappers around, Jehst, Skinnyman is a legend, Grimlok from colony is heavy, who gives a fuck about your colour, we aint that prejudiced over here in the UK, we go on skills, not skin colour. Examples wack and he’s white, but there’s plenty of wack MC’s of allcolours and races in the UK. Edan’s white and he can kill a lot ofmc’s with flows even if not lyrically…isn’t ADOR white…he’s fuckin’ bad.

ps. that whole white guys with hair look is so wack though, how can you be taken seriously if youlook like something from a barber’s shop advert. I think 14 year old girls like them, but real MC’s don’t have ponsey haircuts like that.

Example’s pretty nice live, dunno what’s going on with this track though, I think he’s been listening to too much Lily Allen.
