Biggie died yesterday, not literally silly, 12 years ago yesterday. We’re quite glad because it means we have a reason to post classic print articles like these. What else would we do otherwise? So here’s a classic Source cover from ‘95. A couple of interesting points. First up he’s bigger than the twin towers which is impossible, that would make him the biggest man in the world, secondly he shares the cover with Show & A.G. and that would never happen now.
So click below for enlarged images from a ‘day in the life of The Notorious B.I.G. Makes for fascinating reading and we would personally kill for some footage of Biggie on The Jon Stewart Show……and as if by magic, here it is (thanks BB for alerting us to this courtesy of Meaning Of Dope)
Biggie Bonus 1: Back in ‘97 shortly before Biggie passed, our then Drama Editor, Mike Hard, predicted the death of B.I.G. and performed a spoof autopsy. Here’s a snapshot of teary eyed Fat Lace nostalgia for you.
